We specialize in Civil Weddings and Receptions and aim to take care of all your worries concerning your wedding/reception arrangements.  The picturesque setting of St David‘s School nestling in 30 acres of pleasant grounds complete with lake, marks an idyllic setting for your wedding day photographs. The school dates to 1716 and the present building was constructed in 1857. Reception Rooms

Main Entrance Hall

This is the licensed venue for Civil Weddings and can seat up to 90 persons comfortably. The bride makes her entrance by walking down the grand staircase accompanied by her bridal party and joins her groom in front of the magnificent statue of the Prince of Wales.

This Area which leads on to the lawn is also used as a welcome venue to greet guests and serve drinks.

It can also be used for your evening entertainment.

Our Dining Room will accommodate up to 90 persons for a sit down meal.

Bookings

For all bookings we require a deposit of £500.00 and confirmation in writing.  All charges will be made on numbers one month prior to your reception.  The balance of the account is also payable one month prior to the event.  Any extras purchased on the day must be paid at that time.  Your attention is drawn to the conditions in the Bookings price list page.

We would like you to visit St David’s School approximately one month prior to the Reception, when we can discuss all the arrangements in detail.

Cancellation

St David’s reserve the right to make a cancellation charge should a late cancellation be made and the room cannot be relet within four calendar months.

Departures

Finally, please note that St David’s has a residential school staff and we would kindly request that any entertainment you have booked must cease by 11.30pm and all guest must vacate the premises by midnight.
