Gymnastics St. David’s is currently the most successful school in the country in the discipline of Acrobatic Gymnastics. We offer scholarships to elite gymnasts and specialise in preparing individual work programmes, balancing their school work with demanding training schedules, to ensure that the girls leave us with good academic results. Our squad consists of elite gymnasts who have competed at National, International, European and World Level, as well as gymnasts who only train at school. Several girls train in excess of 20 hours per week to reach gold medal standard. We have Regional, National & World Champions and our most recent successes have seen St David's win Gold medals in all events at the Regional Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships taking a record 27 Gold Medals followed up by winning all three pairs Gold Medals at the National Finals and further Gold Medal triumphs in the Senior British Championships for Abigail Ralph, Anne-Marie Seabourne, Kim Hunter and Katie Axten. The squad is trained by Neil Griffiths & Alison Cooper of Spelthorne Elite Acrobatics and co-ordinated by Sally Ralph, Head (Prep School). Sponsorship is provided by the Friends Of St. David's, who contribute towards the cost of the travel and accommodation expenses.
