Boarding - Introduction
There is a small and friendly Boarding House at
St. David’s that can accommodate up to 45 girls.
Girls may be full boarders, weekly boarders, or in some instances
board only at times when required by their parents*.
Students may be brought to school from 8.00am for breakfast and may stay for evening prep and supper at 6.00pm for a modest charge.
We are flexible in that we are prepared to discuss and try to meet the needs of parents. We encourage the boarders to invite their friends to visit them, and we are also happy and keen for day girls to sample “the boarding life” at some stage. |
|
The friendly structured routine and supervised prep periods after
school and after supper on weekdays, mean that the girls have the
maximum opportunity to concentrate on their work.
|
There is also substantial free time during which girls may take part in an activity, practice music, watch television, or just socialise amongst themselves.
House staff are qualified, experienced and committed to the well-being of our children.
You can leave your daughter with confidence. |
* We do not stipulate a minimum age, but entry into the Boarding
House would depend upon the maturity of the individual.
