Boarding - Local Area and Beyond

The school is located within the small town of Ashford, with a good selection of small shops and restaurants to cater for most needs.

The larger, riverside town of Staines can be easily reached by train, bus or taxi. It offers an excellent shopping centre, a good selection of restaurants, a Multi-Screen Cinema Complex, Leisure Centre and a Health Club.

Ashford Station is a 5-minute walk from the school and on the direct line to London, Waterloo. The centre of London can be reached in just 35 minutes.

The same convenient line can be taken to reach the town of Windsor and Windsor Castle in just 20 minutes. Other easily reached popular tourist destinations are Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace.

Depending on their age they may need to travel with other students or with a member of staff. Mobiles should be operational at all times and a Booking Out Form must be completed.

A programme of weekend activities is organised by House Staff enabling all girls the opportunity to spend time away from the school.
