The Friends of St. David’s, or FOSD are they are generally known, are a thriving fundraising organisation, providing many extras for the school.

Many items have been purchased over the past years including keyboards, computers, whiteboards, software, and a series of televisions and DVD players. A footpath has been created to make the car park safer and CCTV now monitors the grounds.

The creation of a Performing Arts Centre in the Senior School is FOSD’s largest project in recent years. The former gym was completely refurbished and equipped with a state of the art lighting and sound system. Complemented by the excellent portable staging supplied by the school, this is now a marvellous multi-purpose facility.

The Second Hand Uniform shop is run by FOSD, providing a valuable service to parents, whilst the School Shop caters for the children’s stationery requirements and pocket money gifts. In addition to this FOSD offers high quality school memorabilia for those seeking a memento of their time at St. David’s.

	But FOSD provides far more than simply additional funds for the school. It organises a host of social events throughout the year. An ever-growing range of events has complemented the regular Christmas Bazaar, Summer/May Fair and Children’s Discos. These have included an Indian Summer Evening, Quiz Nights, Race Night, Summer Ball, Wine Tasting and a Children’s Karaoke Evening.
